Welcome to the public library!

Havre-Hill County Library is a public library funded by the City of Havre and Hill County.  The public library is handicap accessible with public restrooms, study space and a meeting room.  Library cards are free.  The following libraries share library cards and an online library catalog: Big Sandy Branch, Blaine County Library, Harlem Public Library, Havre-Hill County Library and Liberty County Library.

Library Services

  • Wednesday Books and Babies begins at 10:15 a.m. Story Time begins at 10:30 a.m. and repeats at 3:30 p.m. Lego Time is Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. These family times are free and open to the public. For more information call the library at 265-2123.
  • Interlibrary loan, assistance on the computers, reference, reader advisory. Special collections are Montana, genealogy and large print.
  • Internet is available to the public.
  • Havre Daily News and other local papers are on microfilm with dates from 1893 to present. Books, DVDs, audio books, genealogy and special collections are available.
